The Quilty Barn Along, Summer Star

I made this barn block the same day that Lori posted it on her blog but I'm just getting around to blogging about it today.

I always love choosing fabric for these blocks.  

Here is my summer block.

Don't look too closely though, I made a few flubs....

I'm running out of selections for blacks, grays and browns for the roofs.

I used Aneela Hooey's "Little Apples" for the door and window of the barn.
