Maileg Mice Jewelry Box

 I made my grand daughter Lucy, this little miniature fun box for Christmas.  She has a love for any stuffed animals, so I'm pretty sure she'll love these mice! The are Maileg mice, made in Denmark. 

I bought a jewelry box and gutted it, and ironed heavyweight Pellon onto some cute Christmas fabric. I placed it in the bottom of the jewelry box and added some trim to the top of the box. I made a little pendant banner and a skirt for the big sister.

I also made the cutest little quilt from 1" squares. 

Here is the big sister, she's dressed for winter.

I didn't knit the sweater, most of the miniatures I bought from Temu.

Cute little kitchen miniatures.  The lid opens too.

An adorable teddy bear waffle, with another waffle mold that can be replaced with four heart shaped waffles!

This is under the lid!  A china set, plates, toaster, snowman hot chocolate pitcher with mugs, a Santa book and plate of cookies for Santa, and some broccoli to cook in the pink pot.

The top tray is removable, revealing more cuteness!

Inside the suitcase, under the knit blanket, is an adorable little baby ❤️

I'm pretty sure that Lucy will love this, although I'm having a very difficult time parting with it 😩

The Holland Pouch

I love this Holland Pouch pattern by Centerstreet Quilts.

When my family comes to visit, I always try and make the grandchildren something special.  This time I made something for the parents as well ❤️ I'll fill them with some little tasty goodies :)

 

This one is cute, little hedgehogs with pink trim.

I love the toadstool charm!  I thought hedgehogs live in the forest with toadstools everywhere!

This pouch is for someone whose favorite color is yellow.

This one is so happy!  The flower power fabric is designed by Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!  You guessed it, Maureen McCormick.

This one is for my daughter. Nothing but the best, Ruby Star Society all the way!

My son in law needed something masculine, but I don't have much of that. I really love this cactus fabric, it almost looks like a photograph of cacti.

A Quilt for Bela

 Bela is a sweet 16 year old girl who was born with heart problems. She has had many heart surgeries throughout her life. Finally, her heart was failing really badly and she had to go to the hospital to wait for a new heart. She had been in the hospital for a month when a heart was made available! My friend Nedra had made her a blue heart quilt a year ago, because blue is Bela's favorite color.

Bela is home from the hospital now and working on getting stronger every day. Nedra had the idea of making a heart quilt to celebrate Bela's new heart. Some of us got together and sewed the heart blocks and nine patches for a new quilt.

Nedra made us a beautiful and delicious lunch. Here we all are, holding some blocks.

Nedra sewed the blocks together, Terri machine quilted it, and Nedra bound the quilt.

It feels wonderful to do something like this for someone ❤️

Ho Ho Ho quilt

I love Christmas quilts ❤️

This one is called Ho Ho Ho by Wendy Sheppard, for Annie's Quilting. It was a beginner quilt, pretty easy to put together, and uses fat quarters or large scraps. 

I love the little gifts in the letter "O's".

It's difficult to see, but I used a minty green background with little gold stars. I'm looking forward to getting this one quilted!

Binding Pillow

Usually, at quilt retreat, everyone gives out gifts. Usually handmade, but not always. This retreat, I made Halloween binding pincushions. I sewed a 1 1/2" nine patch and framed it. I stuffed the little cushion and added two clips and a cute pair of scissors. I always keep my thread and needles in the pocket.  I just grab the pincushion and my quilt, sit in front of the TV and bind my quilt.

Our retreat was before Halloween, so this them was perfect!

I thought they were really cute!

My Quilt Retreat

 I had another quilt retreat, it was rejuvenating to the soul ❤️

The back is almost as beautiful as the front!  It almost looks like stained glass.

Linda didn't quite finish this bee and sunflower log cabin but it will be a beauty! It's paper pieced too!

Brenda whipped this quilt up in no time, with the big church dash blocks. The fabric is way prettier in person :)

This is us! I don't know if there's a nice group of women out there! Our should were rejuvenated and we all enjoyed each other's company so much! Each person has their own story and what happens at quilt retreat, stays at quilt retreat!
